Level Design Work

This is a collection of projects which were a complete game and we made levels for the same. The range from various games like Portal, Warcraft, Monkey Marble and so many more.

01 - Portal 2

Project Duration - 1 Week

Individual Project

Engine - Portal 2 Level Editor

I used the portal editor to make a couple of levels and post them on the steam community workshop. The process involved making 3D sketches of the levels and then a series of rigorous trial and error till we had a series of 3 levels with a varying level of difficulty.

02 - Monkey Marble

Project Duration - 2 weeks

Team - Aviroop Roy and Myself

Engine - Unity 2019

This project was to make levels on a game inspired by Super Monkey Ball. The tasks ranged from creating the 3D sketches and building the level on Unity with probuilder. After this we even had to do the textures, lighting and set the entire environment for the level.

03 - Shoot 'em Up

Project Duration - 1 Month

Individual Project

Engine - Unity 2018

Was provided a simple SHMUP game with tools to create levels and weapons, I used Unity to create a series of 3 levels. The assignment involved the task to create weapons (Including damage values, fire rate etc.),

enemies (with movement, shooting patterns and sizes), bosses and the core level layout itself.

04 - Warcraft 3

Project Duration - 3 Weeks

Engine - Warcraft Level Editor

I was tasked to create an entire quest for Warcraft 3. Alongside creating the world itself with the Warcraft Level Editor, I was tasked with writing the story, setting the troops, allies, main character abilities and all the other details that goes into making a Warcraft level also with a difficulty curve based on the troops, time, puzzles and the overall challenge of completing the level.
